We at Anchor Baptist Church Missions work is very important. We support missionaries on 6 of the 7 Contents.
We understand that by ourselves individually we cannot accomplish as we can through the church. Always remembering what
Christ said in Acts 1:8,
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
But to reach the lost we know it starts at home, as you can see we as a Church do personal visitation of homes, we minister
on the streets of the community. We go to the local nursing homes, mission and jails, But we have a larger
responsibility to the world, so we sponsor missionaries to go in our stead to places that we could never do as individuals.
Our Mission
We believe so strongly that we even will put our money where our collective mouths are. We earmark that 10 percent of our
budget is to be spent on missions work.
